windows phone 7 ads are pretty dumb

How do you interpret the Windows Phone 7 ads on TV? What do the ads say to you as a consumer?

To me, the ads say "Our phones arent as exciting and enthralling to use as the other guys'. Our phones are boring." Their ads might as well be pushing my Motorola RAZR phone. I do one or two things with it and put it back in my pocket. I use my iPhone a lot. I play games, I have utilities that help me with my work, I surf the web, I do LOTS with it. MS tells me in their ads that "boring" is what they are going for.

it keeps getting piled on

So we finally found a buyer for our house. The problem is that with the repairs they want done, my wife's bankruptcy, and moving expenses I will be flat fucking broke by the time I get back to Florida. I will be in a worse situation than when I got out of college 17 years ago. I will truly be starting all over again and this is not the economy to be doing that.
